Milton Keynes Food Initiative Receives Vital Support Amid Cost-of-Living Crisis

DREAMSIDreamsai, a community-driven charity based in Milton Keynes, has received a crucial grant from the Milton Keynes Community Foundation to continue its lifesaving food initiative.

The grant was part of the foundation’s Cost of Living Emergency Appeal, which aims to support local organisations helping those struggling with rising living costs.

The £9,884 Cost-of-Living grant was crucial in ensuring the "Food for Sai" project could continue and meant the charity could maintain its food charity projects.

Dreamsai’s project, “Sai-Serve,” provides hot meals and essential supplies to vulnerable individuals and families every Saturday. This support has become even more vital during the current economic crisis, ensuring that many residents have access to nutritious food.

The grant has enabled Dreamsai to maintain its services, offering not only food but also a sense of community and hope for those facing hardship. The initiative is run by a dedicated team of volunteers, who work tirelessly to support those in need, many of whom have been severely impacted by the cost-of-living crisis.

In addition to providing food, Dreamsai also aims to combat social isolation by creating a welcoming environment where people can connect and share their experiences. The ongoing support from the Milton Keynes Community Foundation allows the charity to continue its important work, making a tangible difference to the lives of local residents.
