Harry's Rainbow Colour Run and Fun Day Returns for its 14th Year!

Get ready for a splash of color and a day of family fun as Harry's Rainbow's annual Colour Run and Fun Day makes its highly anticipated return on Saturday, June 15th, from 12 PM to 4 PM at Wolverton Recreation Ground.

This popular community event, now in its 14th year, was originally established by Harry's twin sister, Jessica, as a memorial day to honor Harry. It has since grown into a beloved tradition for children and families of all abilities, offering a vibrant way to support a vital local cause.

Harry's Rainbow, a Milton Keynes-based children's charity, provides crucial support to children, young people, and young adults who have experienced the bereavement of a parent or sibling. The funds raised from this event directly contribute to their invaluable work, which costs approximately £650 to support one child for a year. Last year alone, Harry's Rainbow registered 149 children in need of their services.

The Colour Run is open to children of all ages and takes place on the large Wolverton Recreation Ground, located on Woburn Avenue, Wolverton, MK12 5AZ. Participants can choose between a half-mile or one-mile course, marked out and marshalled on the grass. Whether you prefer to run, walk, hop, skip, or jump, there's an option for everyone, including a non-color route.

Beyond the exhilaration of the colour run, attendees can look forward to a fantastic array of activities, including games, stalls, delicious food and refreshments, and many more family-friendly attractions. It's truly a not-to-be-missed community event and a perfect family day out!

Participation in the Colour Run is just £8 per person or £28 for a family of four. Each registered participant will receive a running number, water, a brioche, and a finisher's medal. Only those who have purchased a ticket will receive a running number and medal.

This year, Harry's Rainbow is also strongly encouraging participants to fundraise. Fundraising not only ensures the longevity of this wonderful event but also directly enables the charity to continue its essential work supporting bereaved children. All individuals who raise over £100 will receive a special goody bag, and the highest fundraiser will win a gift voucher of their choice!

The charity advises early booking as there is a set limit on the number of entrants, and interest from children and families continues to grow each year.
